Jason Isbell's incredible songwriting has been acclaimed by critics and adored by fans since he joined the Drive-By Truckers in 2001. Zac Brown Band are obviously fans of Isbell's work too, and they've chosen to cover "Dress Blues" on their upcoming album.

The lyrics reflect the sadness felt by a small town when a young citizen goes off to war and loses his life, something that is all too relatable for many. "Dress Blues" was beautiful on Isbell's 2007 album Sirens of the Ditch, and it's great to hear Zac Brown Band deliver a worthy cover eight years later.

This single follows "Homegrown" and the Chris Cornell-assisted "Heavy Is The Head" off the Zac Brown Band's upcoming Jekyll + Hyde. The album will be released on April 28, 2015, and is available to preorder on Amazon (CD, MP3). You can also download the single "Dress Blues" on Amazon now.
