Let's shoot back to classic gangster shit with this vintage styled extended music video / short film for T.I.'s "G Shit" featuring Jeezy and fellow Atlanta trio Watch The Duck. The song was released back in November, as the fourth single off T.I.'s 2014 album Paperwork. Watch the suspenseful, cliff-hanging video above.
This is T.I.'s longest visual for a song, clocking in at almost 13 minutes. Here's what director Chris Robinson had to say in a behind-the-scenes video:
We decided early in this process that we were just gonna go for story, something that was epic. Truthfully, this project is 11 months in the making. Cameos from Jeezy, my guy Rotimi, Wood Harris, and of course beautiful women. I think we got something special.
Now we're already familiar with T.I.'s acting ability due to his film appearances since ATL in 2006 and Takers in 2010. Jeezy may catch the acting bug as well, as he gives a pretty good performance himself.
The Pharrell-produced single is a bluesy cut driven by polyrhythmic drums and heavy bass. Leave it to Skateboard P to create a sound that can correlate to any generation.
