Welcome to 2013. Not only is every major album available as a free stream in advance of the official release; now musicians are creating custom video games as part of a gamification for fans to unlock those albums.
In the game for Juicy J's Stay Trippy, the idea is to keep strippers up on the pole by throwing money at them. It's a video game for makin' it rain. There are bonuses for things like consecutive hits - not wasting money in da club - teaching a valuable lesson to America's youth. Between the strippers there will occasionally be piles of cash and paint buckets, which are important because it's actually possible to run out of money.
Here's what the game looks like:
Staying true to the trippy album cover, the game is extra fun when you are going Jackson Pollack:
Oh yeah, the album is actually pretty damn good too. Guests Juicy J, Pimp C, Project Pat, Trey Songz, Wale, Yelawolf, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, Young Jeezy, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, 2 Chainz, Lil' Wayne, and A$AP Rocky keep each song fresh. The songs are the club bangers and strip club soundtrack you'd probably expect. I've only listened to it 1 time, which isn't enough to write a proper review. So far, pretty good.
